Caper Controller

For three months I worked on a visual programming mechanic for a heist planning game I designed named “Caper Controller”. The following video is a post mortem on the project and reflection on the lessons I learnt as a designer.

Blogging – how 2004. I feel like a jaded Zuckerberg in the Social Network. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen that film. A movie about the founding of Facebook has no right being that good.

Anyway on to business, I’m James. I’m in my third year of studying video game design and production at Abertay University. This year for one of my modules I had to keep a development blog on a project I was working on and I was amazed how much I enjoyed keeping a blog. So I’m going to try and keep the habit up, to periodically write about my university work and other creative projects. And hopefully develop my writing ability so everything doesn’t seem so stream of consciousness.
